Who is the Witterman Group

The Witterman Group, led by Brooke and Michael Witterman, encompasses a collection of highly talented specialists that share one key belief: Excellence comes from a focus on serving clients at the highest level. They believe that attaining and sustaining excellence is only accomplished when you value the same characteristics at work as you do in your home life… Honesty, Integrity, Family, Faith & Community.

By combining these core values with their business strengths of deep market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, clear client communication, effective property marketing and an exceptional network of high-quality professionals they have become one of Western Pennsylvania’s premier real estate groups.

Why Real Estate?

During college is where their interest in real estate began. In an effort to corral the escalating costs of pursuing a higher education, Michael purchased his first home during his senior year of college- an older, “fixer upper” located near the college. To offset the cost, Michael rented rooms to other college students. During the summer months, he continued to work on restoring the house. After Brooke graduated college, working to complete the renovations became a priority as their wedding date rapidly approached. After that initial purchase and renovation, they realized they had an affinity for real estate and that it was something they could do while raising a family. The work accomplished on their first home taught them that taking something old and rundown, and turning it into something wonderful gave them profound joy.

Over the years, they have successfully bought and renovated several homes throughout the area with each project adding to their extensive experience in “flipping” homes as well as a devoted network of professionals who facilitate in the completion of these projects.

Brooke and Michael have the uncanny ability to see beyond what is there. This has been an exceptional asset in the homes they renovate to resell and particularly beneficial to their clients. Their experience allows them to provide guidance for successful staging when selling a home.

Giving Back – No Hopeless People, No Hopeless Communities

Giving back to the community that has given them so much is important to Brooke and Michael who believe that developing the full potential that exists in the area is the responsibility of everyone who lives in it. They believe helping others achieve a better life can lead to better communities for all of us and are guided by the mantra of “No Hopeless People, No Hopeless Communities”. They support this vision in many ways including participation in a variety of organizations such as Aliquippa Impact, The Patterson Foundation board, M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) and the Crestmont Early Learning Center preschool advisory board.

With each new Witterman family home they bought and sold they have been reminded of what is important to sellers when leaving a house and buyers when finding a new home. Experience has shown that no two transactions are alike and no two clients are the same. From first time buyers to those transitioning their lives, they know that clients are navigating a stressful time. Maintaining a Client First approach reinforces and drives excellence in service and starts with:

  • Communicating Effectively – Providing clear, thoughtful, realistic communications to their clients so they can understand what is ahead of them throughout each step of the process.
    • Listening Closely – Making sure they hear what their client is really saying as they translate it into what is realistic in the current market.
    • Responding Quickly – Remembering that this is one of the most important events in the client’s life right now and acting accordingly.
  • Utilizing Experts – Working closely with contractors and suppliers for over the last 18 years has developed a broad group of quality, cost effective experts readily available for any client’s needs. From photography to staging, from inspections to construction, and from financing to mortgage needs, a solid dependable group of experts are at hand.

By understanding their clients’ aspirations whether buying or selling their homes, it becomes easier to develop a custom, results-based approach to achieving their clients’ goals. Their experience ensures SELLERS have the current market statistics to price their homes correctly. On average the homes listed with the Witterman Group sell at over 98% of the original asking price and sell within 42 days. BUYERS have the expertise of two licensed real estate professionals on their side, applying their strong negotiation skills which enables their clients to get the best value for their dollar while achieving realistic expectations.

Areas of Specialty

Over the years as the Witterman family has grown, Brooke and Michael have bought and lived in several houses in Beaver County, finally landing where they are now, in Center Township, not far from where Michael grew up. Being able to work at something they love, in the area they love, with the people they call neighbors and friends has naturally led to the Witterman Group finding success across the Pittsburgh region and in particular Beaver county.

Specializing in RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL real estate.

Results – Reinforce The Process

This CUSTOMER FIRST approach is built off of personal and professional histories grounded in the same core values of Honesty, Integrity, Family, Faith & Community and is reinforced by results for their clients. Being experts in the local market, understanding what buyers are looking for and the inventory available allows The Witterman Group to ADVISE, GUIDE and NEGOTIATE strongly on behalf of their clients. They believe the entire process, when conducted correctly, helps maximize the ROI for both buyers and sellers producing smooth transactions and happy clients.
