Why Real Estate?

During college is where their interest in real estate began. In an effort to corral the escalating costs of pursuing a higher education, Michael purchased his first home during his senior year of college- an older, “fixer upper” located near the college. To offset the cost, Michael rented rooms to other college students. During the summer months, he continued to work on restoring the house. After Brooke graduated college, working to complete the renovations became a priority as their wedding date rapidly approached. After that initial purchase and renovation, they realized they had an affinity for real estate and that it was something they could do while raising a family. The work accomplished on their first home taught them that taking something old and rundown, and turning it into something wonderful gave them profound joy.

Over the years, they have successfully bought and renovated several homes throughout the area with each project adding to their extensive experience in “flipping” homes as well as a devoted network of professionals who facilitate in the completion of these projects.

Brooke and Michael have the uncanny ability to see beyond what is there. This has been an exceptional asset in the homes they renovate to resell and particularly beneficial to their clients. Their experience allows them to provide guidance for successful staging when selling a home.

Giving Back – No Hopeless People, No Hopeless Communities

Giving back to the community that has given them so much is important to Brooke and Michael who believe that developing the full potential that exists in the area is the responsibility of everyone who lives in it. They believe helping others achieve a better life can lead to better communities for all of us and are guided by the mantra of “No Hopeless People, No Hopeless Communities”. They support this vision in many ways including participation in a variety of organizations such as Aliquippa Impact, The Patterson Foundation board, M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) and the Crestmont Early Learning Center preschool advisory board.
